SKIN AND BODY CARE CRUSHING: FAIR SQUARED ORGANIC BEAUTY.

When it comes to skincare and cosmetics, the importance of great ethics and quality of ingredients has never been more important. As time moves forward, an increasing number of brand names, both big and small, are starting to reconsider the ethics of their products in order to make them 'fairer' and 'kinder' to both animals and the environment.

I for one care greatly about the history of the products that I use, and I'm always incredibly disappointed to learn that brands I love still test on animals. I understand that there are still boundaries and restrictions in this regard that make it particularly difficult to banish all practices of this nature. However, the brand I have most recently fallen in love with challenges the ethics of many major skincare and cosmetic giants, proving that high-quality products can indeed come from a completely cruelty-free, eco-friendly, organic and ethical place. The brand that I'm talking about is 'Fair Squared.'

I first heard about Fair Squared when browsing the web. As a beauty blogger, I'm always on the hunt for new brand names, and I'm always especially excited to learn more about brands I've never heard of before. For various reasons, Fair Squared captured my attention straight away, and being given the opportunity to collaborate with Fair Squared has been a genuine pleasure - I can't wait to tell you more about them and their fantastic products!

As you all know, I'm extremely passionate about skin and body care, and so I was completely delighted to be presented with the opportunity to sample a variety of different products from Fair Squared.

The products which I've been sampling are as follows:

As you can probably already tell from that list, Fair Squared specialise in skin and body care products derived from natural, organic ingredients. Their products promise lots of earthy fragrances and they're extremely passionate about the ethics behind the Fair Squared business. As the brand name suggests, all Fair Squared products are entirely fairtrade and cruelty-free, making them the ideal brand for all those who care about the greater good of our planet. And to top it all off, the products work like a dream, too.

In my experience as a beauty blogger, I've often come across many skeptical views of cruelty-free beauty and skincare. Many customers have this pre-conceived idea in their heads that fairtrade products are lacking in some way or another, or that they're 'missing' something, which is completely untrue.

I've been using the Fair Squared product collection above for several weeks now, and I am honestly so impressed with the entire range. These products are so soothing, and you can really tell that the ingredients used are kind to the skin. Also, the products are fragranced, but only very lightly, which is lovely. I do find that heavily perfumed products can cause skin irritation and drying, but the soft, natural fragrance of the Fair Squared products is very pleasant.

At the moment, my favourite product from the range has to be the Lime Foot Fresher. As you all know, I love having a fresh pedicure and keeping my tootsies looking lovely and feeling soft, and for this, the Lime Foot Fresher has been an absolute God-send. The scent of the lime is lovely and light, and the creamy, soft texture of the lotion leaves the feet feeling sensually soft and completely replenished. If you're on your feet a lot, or you simply love a little pedicure, this product is a must-have to add to your collection!

Another product that I've been really loving is the Intimate Shaving Oil. I know that some bloggers really don't like talking about 'down there', but for me, this is just another part of my body, so why not share with you the products I use down there?! I'm a huge fan of oil-based skin and body care products as I find them extremely soothing and softening, and this lovely intimate oil really is both of these things.

Presented in a cute little bottle, this oil comes out using a pump-action dispenser, which makes it really clean and easy to use. Also, as the ingredients are so soft and natural, there's no unpleasant tingling or burning like there is with other shaving products on the market. For this area, I would always advise a separate razor, and would recommend steering clear from regular shaving creams and foams. Whilst some products are fomulated for use in your intimate area, others aren't, and so some products are likely to cause irritation.

Overall, I am genuinely so impressed with the Fair Squared products that I've been using. I'm extremely picky about the products which I apply to my skin, as I'm very conscious of reactions, but the minimalistic ingredients list and 'kind to skin' formulas have proven genuinely beautiful.

Will I continue to use Fair Squared products?

Absolutely. I've fallen completely in love with this brand. The products are absolutely gorgeous and the fact that everything they create is both organic and fair trade is just amazing.
